  • Paul VI Soccer Player, Anthony Abruzzo, selected for Team USA Ball Hockey Team

    Paul VI Senior Anthony Abruzzo tried out for, and made, Team USA to play ball hockey for the U-18 age group that will be participating in the World Championhsips in Bratislava, Slovakia - June 23rd through the 29th. He will represent the USA and play national teams in his age group from Slovakia, Canada, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the Czech Republic. 

    Anyone that may be interested, below is a link to the website that has a link to the game schedule, and most of the games will be broadcast live on the internet, although there is a 6 hour difference so most games will be in the overnight hours.

  • Paul VI Fall Sports Banquet

    The Paul VI Fall Sports Banquet will be held at the school on Wednesday, December 4th.  All monies are due by Wednesday, November 27th, cost of the banquet is $20 per person.

  • Boys Varsity shuts down Winslow

    H.Merachnik ('15)
      Sophomores Ji Park and Jack Stewart scored the first two goals unassisted. The third goal was also scored by Ji Park with an assist from senior Declan McDonnell. Senior goalie Tyler Diorio recorded the shut out for his team.

    The game was very physical due to Winslow's frustration of lack of ball possession. The Eagles moved the ball using quick, solid, consecutive passes throughout the entire game. The boys are in great shape and are in the middle of a successful season.

  • PVI Alum Murphy named Centennial Conference MSoc Defender of the Week

    LANCASTER, Pa. – Ursinus College junior goalkeeper Ryan Murphy (Sewell, N.J./Paul VI) was named as the Centennial Conference Men's Soccer Defender of the Week by the conference office on Monday.

    Murphy pitched two shutouts this week, including making three saves in Ursinus' 1-0 upset win over ninth-ranked Dickinson on Saturday.

    He has not allowed a goal in his last three matches, lowering his goals against average to 1.68. He also leads the conference in saves with 39.

    Ursinus has the week off, hosting Swarthmore on Saturday night.
