Congratulations to the class of 1969, our first Paul VI graduating class, who celebrated their 50-year reunion on Saturday, November 30, 2019. Forty-four members of the class attended the reunion, held at the Somerdale VFW. Attendees expressed appreciation and thanks to the planning committee, Bernice (Flood) Carey, Aileen (Deeney) Foster, Arlene (LaBuda) Thumm, Sharon (Schroth) Cullinan, Ray Samulis, Claire (Homenick) Somers, and Nancy (Hyland) Wiley, for all of the time intensive work they did in reaching contact information, reaching out to class members, and orchestrating this very special and enjoyable reunion gathering.
In addition to their reunion, festivities included recognition to their class at the 2019 Homecoming game. Also, you may have seen the article in The Retrospect, that ran in the November 29, 2019 issue, based on an interview with several members of the class who shared memories of their years as the first graduating class of Paul VI High School.

The Class of 1974 celebrated their 45-Year Reunion on Saturday, October 12 at Victors Pub, owned and operated by classmate Debbie Kleinhans-Sarin. Some of the class members also attended the Hall of Fame the night before to kick off the celebration with a few of their class mates who were inducted. Special thanks to the reunion committee for planning such a successful party for their 45 year anniversary.
On October 23rd the Class of ’75 gathered together at the Valleybrook Country Club in Blackwood to celebrate their 40-year class reunion. Not long after enjoying cocktails, appetizers and dinner, classmates took to the dance floor, displaying some moves reserved for a younger class (there were some reports of sore muscles the next day!). The DJ “spun records” from 70’s favorites through today’s top hits, but we were all transported back to the old Saturday Night Dance when we heard that familiar last dance; “Hold Me, Thrill Me.”
Classmates traveled from around the corner and from around the country to join in the fun. In one of the evening’s highlights, classmate Peggy Sachs Feliciano was presented with a tiara as she was crowned 40th Reunion Queen, after winning the awards for traveling the longest distance to the reunion (from her home inPuerto Rico) and the classmate with the most children (14!).
Mixing and mingling continued all night and the conversation flowed so easily that many members of the class continued those conversations at Skeeters in Blackwood, after the official reunion event.
All agreed that five years is too long between gatherings, so there are plans to schedule at least one class gathering each year. Many thanks to the The Class of 75 Reunion Committee included Donna (Brown) DiGiacomo, Terence Evans, Ginny McLaughlin, Adrienne (Jaquot) Meglino, Wendy (Strang) Rooney and Joan (Kiessling) Erle

On Saturday November 26, 2016 gathered at the Westwood Golf Club in Woodbury to celebrate 35 years since they left high school. Reminiscsing about the energy and chatter in the halls when changing classes--navigating the traffic while looking for your friends and stopping at your locker (if not-lugging those heavy text books) -all under the pressure of the bell (or face a visit to Mr. Rowan's office.) When the girls uniforms changed to a blue and white plaid (and longer length). Finally "making it" to the senior section of the cafeteria. And, our "home" football field at Haddon Township High School.
“People came to reconnect and the energy in the room was a huge high all night". "My only complaint is that time flew by too quickly!" It was a great night!
