PVIGVB Improve to 2-0 with Win over Washington Twp

The Paul VI girls volleyball team defeated Washington Township 2-0 (25-22, 25-21) on Friday. Rachel Robb led the Eagles with 9 kills and 3 blocks. Alexa Pattinson (19 assists) also set up Meghan Gallagher (4 kills 12 digs) and Karyn Chew (4 kills, 4 digs) who played strong games up front for PVI. Sophia Marziello (4 aces 6 digs 1 kill) and Grace Underwood (5 aces 3 kills 2 blocks) served very well for the Eagles, who improved to 2-0 on the season. On defense, Maureen Gilkin (4 digs), Rebecca Springle (3 digs) and Isabel Caruso (2 digs) all had strong performances in the backrow.
