Girls Varsity Volleyball win hard fought match vs. Moorestown
The PVI girls volleyball team defeated Moorestown 2-0 (26-24, 25-23) Thursday to improve to 14-3 on the season. The Eagles had a very balanced attack with Rachel Robb (5 kills 2 blocks 2 aces), Grace Underwood (4 kills 1 ace 1 block), Meghan Gallagher (4 kills 11 digs), Karyn Chew (4 kills), Caroline Mahurter (3 kills) and Sophia Marziello (2 kills 9 digs) all making plays at the net. The offense was set up by Elaina Stark (12 assists) and Alexa Pattinson (8 assists 2 aces). Isabel Caruso (5 digs), Rebecca Springle (2 digs) and Maureen Gilkin (1 dig) all played well defensively for PVI.
