PVIGVB Start 2015 with Win at Kingsway

The PVI girls volleyball team started their season with a hard fought victory over division rival Kingsway. The Eagles won 2-1 (25-23, 21-25, 25-21) Leading the way up front was Grace Underwood (7 kills, 2 blocks 12 digs), Rachel Robb (5 kills 2 blocks 2 aces) and Sophia Marziello (5 kills, 11 digs). Alexa Pattinson paced the Eagles with 17 assists. Seniors Karyn Chew (4 aces) and Meghan Gallagher (2 kills 10 digs 2 aces) made big play for the Eagles down the stretch. Isabel Caruso, Maureen Gilkin, and Rebecca Springle all played well in the backrow for PVI.
