Varsity Football walks all over Triton

Lonnie Moore set the tone with a 74-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to open the scoring for Paul VI in a 62-14 win over Triton in Runnemede.

Chris Randle picked up one of his two touchdowns on the day later in the first quarter on a 13-yard run. Erick Robertson extended the lead to 28-0 in the second quarter after a 32-yard reception score from a pass by Matty Vitale. Triton answered with a one-yard rush by Ryan McNamee but Paul VI would get it back before the half came to a close with the Eagles leading 34-7 as Cameron Moore returned a kickoff 70 yards for a touchdown.

Donnelly Shuler started the scoring in the second half with a 13-yard pick-six. Steve Roche caught a pass from McNamee and took it 61 yards to give Triton another TD.

Randle found the end zone for his second touchdown of the game later in the third quarter with a five-yard run. Before the quarter came to a close, Vitale threw for another score, this one going to Adam Constantino for 11 yards.

Shuler capped the win for the Eagles with a 74-yard run in the fourth quarter.
