BETHLEHEM, Pa. — There are only a few words that can sum up the season sophomore Ann Foley had for Lehigh swimming and diving, and one of them has to be 'elite.' She capped off an ultra-successful second year in the Brown and White with an individual Patriot League title in the 50-yard freestyle, a First Team All-Patriot League selection and a spot on the Academic All-Patriot League team.

Nationally, however, her fast swims and high level of competition were recognized as she was going through the Patriot League this year. In the 200-yard freestyle throughout Division I collegiate competition, Foley had one of the more dominant times in the 200, a swim in which she broke the Lehigh school record in this season.

She had the 65th fastest time in the 200 free at a time of 1:46.05, making the NCAA Psych Sheet for the event. For comparison, the top time in the event was a 1:41.29 from Louisville's Mallory Comerford. Also, just a second separates Foley from having the 36th-fastest 200 free time in the nation at 1:45.04.

Foley was the only Mountain Hawk, men's or women's, to earn a spot on the NCAA Psych Sheet for a specific event, which is an incredible accomplishment, especially for someone who still has two more years left with the program.
