Physical Education

  • Driver's Education A

    This course is a study of the state driver's manual, driving and decision making, highway conditions, and driver performance. The New Jersey State permit examination is administered in this class.

  • Health and Wellness A

    The goal of this course is to help students become associated with general first aid and health related issues. Topics will include nutrition, substance use and abuse, physical fitness, and healthy living.

  • Personal Health and Safety A

    The focus of this one semester course is to help students foster a basic understanding of first aid procedures and to develop the knowledge and confidence needed in order to perfrom first aid and CPR effectively. The course will also include fire safety, nurtrition, stress management and personal fitness.

  • Physical Education I-A

    This course is designed to meet both the present and the future physical needs of students thorugh their participation in activities, which develop fitness, coordination and sportsmanship. Students participate in team sports and phsyical fitness activities.

    This course is designed to meet both the present and the future physical needs of students through their participation in activities, which develop fitness, coordination, and sportsmanship. Students participate in team sports and physical fitness activities. 
  • Physical Education II-B

    This course is designed to meet both the present and the future physical needs of students through their participation in activities, which develop fitness, coordination, and sportsmanship. Students participate in team sports and physical fitness activities. 
  • Recreational Fitness

    The purpose of this course is to promote healthy lifestyle activities. Activities may include wiffle ball, flag football, power walking, and stretching. Students will be encouraged to introduce fitness games and activities. Movement and safety will be stressed. 
  • Senior Seminar

    This time is spent to review and discuss important senior topics, such as college admission, financial aid, teacher recommendations, standardized testing, college adjustment, health issues, and senior activities such as senior trip, fashion show, and graduation.
