Eagles (6-2) quarterback Matt Vitale came within one of tying the South Jersey record for touchdown passes in a game as he threw six against the host Quakers (1-8) in a Constitution Division game.
Vitale hit Lonnie Moore for the game’s first four TDs, covering 40, 66, 12 and 75 yards, and later added scoring strikes to Irv Charles and Stefone Moore-Green.
