The sophomores will meet in class with their guidance counselors one period per cycle in the third quarter.  Topics to be covered are the Career Interest Profiler, career research, electronic college portfolios, college research, college visitation, SAT preparation and review of NCAA requirements.  To achieve a passing grade, a student must minimally complete an updated electronic college portfolio.

The freshmen will meet in class with their guidance counselors one period per cycle in the first quarter.  Topics to be covered are study skills, transition to high school, organization, school involvement, goal setting, career planning, college requirements, transcripts, class rank, GPA, NCAA requirements, and standardized testing.  The students will be introduced to Naviance, the college planning tool.
