Dear Paul VI Alumni Family,
Over the last several years, the Alumni Association has communicated
with you about the importance of staying connected with your Alma
Mater, Paul VI High School. Through sporting events, school
functions, fundraising, and Alumni Association sponsored
"get-togethers"; we strive very hard to keep you informed of the
value of staying involved.
Many classes are planning their reunions and will continue to
communicate with their fellow classmates. This year will also embark
on an aggressive campaign to solicit graduates from respective
classes to serve on the Board of Governors. All this is being done
to strengthen the connectivity that we desire as alumni.
We ask that if you are not involved that you take a moment to
evaluate the benefits of doing so. Perhaps you would like to learn
more about staying connected? Perhaps attending a "get-together" is
something of interest to you? Either way we will continue to
communicate the benefits to you and plan quality gatherings.
Our annual summer event, "Eagles In The Wild" will be held on Sunday
August 3, 2008 at the old 2nd Street Annie’s in North Wildwood which
has now become Husky McCluskey’s. We hope to build on the success of
prior years events. Please note that we have changed the day of last
year from Saturday to Sunday!
Finally, we always welcome suggestions and input from alumni. It is
your Alumni Association so you are a vital part of its’ success. As

Eagles In The Wild
Mark your calendar for August 3, 2008 from 2-6 PM. Eagles In The
Wild will remain in North Wildwood at the same location under a new
name, Husky McCloskey's. We thank 2nd Street Annie’s for the hard
work that they have done for us in the past and we welcome new
experiences with Keenan’s Restaurant & Bar, who have become the new
owners. The price of tickets will be $20.00 for pre-ticket sales and
$25.00 at the door. The price includes draft beer, wine, a buffet,
and a DJ. All domestic bottled beer will be $2.00 and there will be
discounts on mixed drinks.
This day would not be a success without the alumni community. Come
out and support your fellow alumni, and bring someone who has never
come before.

The Paul VI Alumni Association meets throughout the year. Their
responsibility is to oversee the alumni association and to help plan
alumni events.
For those alumni who are interested in actively participating in the
alumni association, we encourage you to join one of the below listed
committees. Please contact the chair of the committee for further
information.
They will also be responsible for electing officers as follows:
Alumni President - elected by all of the governors
Vice President - elected from Classes ’69-’79
Vice President - elected from Classes ’80-’90
Vice President - elected from Classes ’91-’02
In addition to leading the Alumni Association, its president will be
an ex-officio member of the Board of Trustees that will administer
the high school beginning in January.

We all enjoy hearing about what’s happening in the lives of our
classmates and fellow alumni. To help make this a regular part of
our upcoming newsletters and website we need your help. Please send
us all information regarding class reunions, job promotions, awards
received, events occurring in your family, life, etc. We will do our
best to publish this information in a timely manner.
